As it is outlined in your contract we require all of our couples to carry Event Liability Insurance. Please submit proof of your event event insurance at least 90 days prior to your wedding date by emailing our Venue Coordinator at admin@thecypresshouse.org.

You can purchase your event insurance through the Event Helper website, linked below, or contact our local insurance agency and inquire through them.

There are two things you need to be sure to include:

  • The Cypress House must be listed as “Additional Insured” or “Certificate Holder”. The venue’s address: 9553 River Road New Columbia, PA 17856.

  • If there will be alcohol at your event you must include Host Liquor Liability in your policy

We only require event insurance for your actual wedding day. If you choose to insure your rehearsal date as well, that is at your own discretion.

Once your policy is purchased, download a copy of the PDF to keep for yourself, email us the document as well, and you are good to go!
