The Cypress House
The Cypress House is a Federal-style home constructed in 1835. Our property resides on 24 acres, along the bank of the Susquehanna River. Purchased in 1987, the Landis family dedicated their hearts and hands to restoring the property to it's original glory. The estate features a stone barn dating back to 1817 and meticulously kept colonial gardens bursting with boxwood, magnolias, and garden roses.
When you get married here, you stand on hundreds of years of patient labor and a ton of love. We pray your marriage is built the same!
The Designers
Many years before it's namesake, the Cypress House team has delighted in creating. It wasn't until 2012, after hosting Ry & Courtney’s wedding, that we realized there was a market for our gifts. Designing, decorating, building, flowering, and coordinating has never felt like work to us. This vision bloomed from the lifelong endeavors of our family, comprised of florists, landscapers, makeup artists, antiquers, builders and photographers.
Family is important to us and that’s why we are doing this together. We desire that your wedding day is cared for and celebrated like you’re a part of our family.
The Purpose
We desire a sanctuary of joy, peace and rest for you and your guests. We believe on your wedding day you are standing on holy ground - the most enchanting covenant. It is our passion to adorn your day with all the loveliest things, so you can delight in the memories for a lifetime.
We look at each wedding as an opportunity to share our proceeds with those that need it most. A portion of our profits will be donated to local and global initiatives.
